Welcome to the only full service dog experience here on the San Mateo Coast.

We provide on-site full service professional grooming by appointment.  

Day Care and In-House Lodging.. Our teams dedication to the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of your pup while in our care is of utmost importance.


Here at Happy Tails your four legged friend enjoys being a dog, a real dog. They are free to roam, play, smell the roses, or nap the afternoon away on the lawn under a shady tree. We have large grassy areas dedicated to your pups recreation, and specific areas for both large and small breeds so all dogs have areas best suited for their needs.

We're a drop off facility and carefully limit the number of dogs to insure each one has plenty of one on one time and individual attention. It is our goal to make sure your pet has the best possible experience and you have peace of mind knowing your pet is being well taken care of. All of our guests are paired with other dogs of like temperaments and never will they be just thrown together in one large pack. We realize that much like humans, dogs have needs, likes, dislikes and quirks that we respect and pay attention to to insure a safe and happy experience.

Safety and enjoyment of all our guests is our number one goal and why we are here.

Dogs over six months must be spayed or neutered.

Puppies must be over 16 weeks and have had all shots.

Even though we love all dogs we restrict certain breeds, sorry.

We also are pleased to offer short or extended stay lodging where your dog becomes one of our family members during their stay. Your dog will enjoy all the care and attention in our Day Care program if applicable plus overnights in our home. You supply the food and we supply the love and attention and a comfy place to lay their head at night.

Overnight stays are limited to our four legged friends only but you are welcome to stay for a while to enjoy the view.

In addition to our day care and lodging services we are delighted to offer our fully equipped on site grooming room for your pups pleasure. All grooming sessions are private one on one to insure a pleasant experience.
